Camp host was super cool and helped us sort out our initial stay and extend when we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this place!

Stillwater Campground is located between the towns of Granby and Grand Lake, CO. It on a roundish peninsula of land protruding into Lake Granby which is home to the campground and a boat launch area. As such, it's surrounded on three sides by the lake, with a view of the Rocky Mountains in the distance. I booked a site with electric/water, which was very level, although many are standard nonelectric. There's decent space between sites. It's a short drive to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, making it easy to enter before the beginning of the 9am-2pm vehicle reservation period. Grand Lake is the closest town and has limited/expensive amenities. Bring what you need, especially in groceries and personal items. My Verizon signal was good (3 bars). Nights were quiet, although you may experience some noise from passing vehicles depending on your site location. Sunsets were colorful and beautiful!
My main complaint with Stillwater Campground is the unpredictable shower situation. Having access to a shower is one of the main reasons I booked this location. The women's showers didn't have hot water, so I used the men's shower facility each day, which is obviously not ideal. C'mon, USFS, let's get these restrooms working!
Would definitely return.

We stayed here because we had stayed here in twenty twenty and was very pleased with the location and the campground. This time, we were unable to find an electric camp site and had to stay on a campsite that had no hookups. But the site that we chose had an amazing view of Lakel Granby. The downside was there was only one toilet available in the bathroom for each gender, So the weight was long to have access to the toilet. The showers were closer and hot and unavailable which was a huge disappointment. When we use the dump station , We could not get fresh water because the hose was broken.

If you get a chance, visit and hike at Monarch Lake on the south side of the lake.
No noise even on weekends.
AT&T cell service was excellent, all bars of 5G, no booster needed.

Good hookups, level, with tidy campsite layout: trailer & truck pad, then railroad ties and stairs to the table and fire pit. Looks like a "Christmas Tree Farm" in terms of the trees around the campsite, lots of them, but you can see over to the lake. There was a cheerful maintenance person with a golf cart, brooms and cans on patrol.
Site A31 was perpendicular to the road, and not much room to maneuver in front of it, but eventually we got straight in. Many of the other spaces have good angles. Would think twice about needing to pullout, dump and re-park for a longer stay but that's just us.

Easy access from the road, we had a site with lake views. We actually could walk to the water with our paddle boards without needing to drive.
Signal was very spotty, because of it we couldn't stay longer.

Spent 2 days kayaking on Granby Lake and had many sandy beaches in campground to hang out with our 2 dogs. This campground puts you into west entrance and is about a 45 min ride to Bear Lake region of RMNP but this let us check out the rest of park on our way out. We enjoyed our stay - bathhouse was clean and campground was well maintained. We did get some road noise, but didn’t notice after a day.
