This campground was a lovely find! So clean and peaceful! Fool Hollow lake is right nearby and is a great lake for kayaking. Nice, clean campground on the Mississippi River. Not very crowded on a mid-April weekend. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are clean and hot.

We found the campground adequate for a one-night stay with its easy access to I-81. Our site, No. 43, was a basic, no frills, open pull-through with little distance between the adjoining neighbors, a long distance from the rest rooms/showers and dumpster, and close to a busy highway. The park has a number of different sections. I was in big Pine. Signage was fairly clear. I was in a pull through. I could walk down to the water and the hiking trail was within 100 feet of my space. They had a lot of rain and the site had a few limbs down. I definitely will come back here when I can stay longer.
