Have 4 wheel drive and a small camper or a tent. I would not bring something larger than mine in here there is nowhere to turn around so I was just hoping that I would find a spot that was open. It took a lot and I had to go through some deep sand up hill to find it. I highly recommend scouting the area first before getting off the road or making turns. At one point we got out and walked down a road to the left that was small and turns out there was a van there already and there would have been nowhere for me to turn around.
If you have an actual RV the only spots available to you will be at the very beginning before you see that "fork" where there is a small road to the left and then the main road continues right. If you do not see a spot at this point turn the F around.
The rest is up hill in deep sand and you'll have to back into the spots. There is no other option.
Once you start seeing rocks you have to go over it's about to get real bumpy so keep that in mind!
No service.
Absolutely beautiful.
Head into boulder.

There are some dispersed camping spots along the Burr Trail further down, however, there is a steep hill with a switchback at about mile 8 (route markers are in km, so just after the REF 15).

We were looking for a dispersed campsite near Boulder, UT. We stayed on a weeknight in early June in our 25 foot MH. This site is approximately 11 miles from Boulder on the paved Burr Trail Road. There is a cluster of campsites north of the road, west of the Gulch trailhead. After a short, steep climb (watch for rocks and deep sand on left), there are several mostly level sites to choose from with nice views. There is weak yet usable Verizon coverage, 2 bar 4G with an antenna. Always check road conditions at the visitor center as dirt/sand roads may be impassable after rain.
