We couldn't stay there, looking for a place near us, found it in Campendium, and it was closed.

“Right on the river, right on the highway”

This is right off the highway between Alpine and Jackson. This campsite is between the Snake River and the highway, but you really hear the highway quite a bit. Try to get a spot closer to the river, sites 4-11 This is not meant for the big campers, but we were able to fit in site 15. There were big rigs in site 2 and 5 also. We... more
This is right off the highway between Alpine and Jackson. This campsite is between the Snake River and the highway, but you really hear the highway quite a bit. Try to get a spot closer to the river, sites 4-11
This is not meant for the big campers, but we were able to fit in site 15. There were big rigs in site 2 and 5 also. We probably would not have been able to make the loop upon exit, so we backed down a bit and were able to get out. If you are unsure if the campground is full, I would not pull in with a big rig because it would be difficult to get out.
Pathway down the river is steep and unmarked, but it is between sites 3/4.
Camp hosts were very nice.
The biggest negative here is the road noise.

“Drove through, nice shady campground”

Didn't stay here but checked it out for future visits. Has no dump. Has a couple of fresh water faucets (threaded) throughout the camp. Sites are shaded but not always level. There is a river, but the campground is located far above it - not sure if there is a trail down to the river. No internet, not Verizon, neither AT&T, ther... more

Garbage containers available.
Was there end of June, on a sunny afternoon, and the camp was 1/2 occupied.
