“Nice flat sites right on the Tellico River”

Overall Rating

A few miles down the Cherohala Skyway, just outside of Tellico Plains, turn right onto Forest Service Road 210. This is a beautiful 18 mile road that borders the Tellico River, known for great fly fishing. There are about 13 very small camp sites along the river. Most have 5-10 sites. Dry camping only. The sites are easy to access, have nice picnic tables, fire pits and bear proof trash receptacles. These camp sites are first come, you pay when you get there. They are on the road but there are not a lot of cars at night. They fill up quick. Tents, small RV's or trailers.
