Outdoor space is available at the Fairgrounds for RVs, campers and trailers, with electric hookups. Water is available seasonally. For camping during the Fair, there is space for vendors and Junior Fair 4-H program participants. Please contact the Fair Office for more information about camping.

All the campgrounds in the area close from Nov-April. We needed a place with electric hook-ups and to be able to leave our trailer to attend a funeral service. Crystal in the office was very helpful. All the campgrounds in the area close from Nov-April. We needed a place with electric hook-ups and to be able to leave our trailer to attend a funeral service. Crystal in the office was very helpful. She sent me a detailed map on where to park. Since it was off-season we weren’t in the regular “campground” area but tucked away between some buildings. Given that we were the only ones here, we felt much safer than being out in the open. Water was off but we had 50 amp electric. No dump station. Price $35/night. No check-in/check-out times.

Overall Rating
Only downside is the 30 amp receptacles are reversed polarity so I had to use the 15 amp with my dog bone. Other than that it’s peaceful in the heart of Canton only 10 minutes to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and 5 minutes to downtown shops and restaurants.

We came to stay to visit family around the holidays around Christmas 2018. We checked in and were welcomed by the staff at the office behind the grandstand, who got us all set up and showed us where to dump our tanks and fill up water. We came to stay to visit family around the holidays around Christmas 2018. We checked in and were welcomed by the staff at the office behind the grandstand, who got us all set up and showed us where to dump our tanks and fill up water. Since it was off-season, we were the only ones there for our entire stay! The location was central to most everything in Canton and the friendly staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

I tried to reserve a night at the campgrounds for June 2021. They said they are not going to have the campground open this year. Wow! Don't know what they excuse is, since a big campground like a fairground campground could easily do every other site (or every 3rd site) and have lots of distance between the campers.

Called on 10/16 and was told that the grounds are closed through April 2020. I',m not sure if it's a permanent transition to being seasonal-only, but I wanted to mention since my previous review was from December and implied they are open year-round.
