“Peaceful and enchanting campground, but it is no longer open for overnight stays”
We loved staying here. We have been here several times. You are out in grizzly bear camping, so you have to camp safely. It is right next to a gorgeous waterfall. Plus you are among ancient, large cedar trees. It's a fantastic area! That being said....the campground is no longer open for camping. There was a storm that knocked down one of the ancient cedar trees and it killed a camper. So, now the area is only open for day use.
The main road getting here is a good gravel road. Once you make a turn off that main road, the access road is a little bumpy, but cars can easily make it.
The campsites are not suitable for large RV's. There is no where to turn around.
There are picnic tables, firepits, and an outhouse.
No cell service.
There is a short hike to a waterfall, and a longer hike to a larger grove of ancient cedar trees.
Cheri would stay here again
