No. The campground is situated on the bay side of the island. However, the island is narrow and it is just a short walk to the Gulf beaches.

Campground is about a 1/4 mile from the beach. There are some sites that back up to the sand dunes but most of them are wooded. Many are very private. It is an easy bike ride or short walk to the beach.

No. You can walk or drive to the beach. It is a pretty good distance if you are wanting chairs, umbrellas etc. it has a nice parking lot and restroom there.
