No. The campground is situated on the bay side of the island. However, the island is narrow and it is just a short walk to the Gulf beaches.

Campground is about a 1/4 mile from the beach. There are some sites that back up to the sand dunes but most of them are wooded. Many are very private. It is an easy bike ride or short walk to the beach.

Not to my knowledge. Some may have a partial water view, but no beach.

No, the campground is across the road from the beach. It's about a quarter mile to the beach.

Nope, they are all sheltered from the beach via dunes. It's not a long walk to the beach from any of the campsite, though.

No. You cannot see the beach from a campsite. It is close and basically surrounded by water though.

I don't think so ... they are sheltered in the pines. But the beach is close.

Answered on 4/2/2021:

No. You can walk or drive to the beach. It is a pretty good distance if you are wanting chairs, umbrellas etc. it has a nice parking lot and restroom there.
