I recently stayed at the St George/Hurricane KOA, and I had an excellent experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The site itself was immaculate, with well-maintained facilities and grounds that showcased their commitment to cleanliness. Additionally, the location was perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like me, offering quick and easy access to the stunning landscapes of the Red Cliffs Conservation Area. This proximity allowed for spontaneous adventures and breathtaking views just a stone’s throw away from my campsite. Overall, my stay was delightful, and I would highly recommend the St George/Hurricane KOA to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway with top-notch service.

Surrounding mountains were pretty. Some of the staff were kind, others not so much. GPS took us a long way out of the way. Better campgrounds in the area!

I'd rate higher but this park allows flags with the "F" word on it. I don't care much but there are many kids here. Most parks don't allow cursing or racist flags. Maybe they haven't seen site 113 but the 2 kids walking by sure did. Maybe it's a Utah thing. We love the park and the staff are great but they don't seem to follow the corp... more

We love the park and the staff are great but they don't seem to follow the corporate KOA policy on vulgar political flags. I didn't bring it up because we're still here and I don't want to get shot or something.

This one of the worst KOAs we have stayed at. All the site look like buddy sites but aren’t, so you’re stuck facing other campers. Our site luckily was on the end however, the actual camp site was backwards. So all of the hookups were in the site. You get out of your camper on the right side but the site is on the opposite side of your camper. The bath house was big but smelled of mildew and not that clean. Mini golf and game room in need of a major renovation. The laundry was fine, however they don’t take quarters. You have to either purchase a card for $5 or download an app to save the 5 bucks, then load a minimum of $10 on your account. It was fine because we had to wash about 3 loads but not really fair to those they need to wash less, as they would be stuck with a balance. $2 to wash, $1.75 to dry.

The staff was friendly and helpful and there was plenty of room to check in and unhook our toad. The sites were packed gravel and very level. We had absolutely gorgeous views from every side of our spot!

This site is on the end of the row, so we had extra space and privacy. While the internet wasn't the best, the cable TV was great. This property offers a small fenced in area for dogs, but some additional green spaces were nice. The back of the park does have access to a ravine that our dog really liked. The laundromat was clean with new machines. (No quarters, app on your phone). Would definitely stay here again.

Staying here for 5 nights in January so it’s not crowded at all. Extremely friendly people and staff which is a huge change from our last stop. I can see how it’d be hard if it was packed but it definitely wasn’t when we were here. Spots are skinny so slide outs were close to the poles but we made it work!

“Really Clean Friendly Staff Very Little Noise From The Freeway”

We were in site 113. Cable or just tv antenna didn’t work for us. We had 1 bar with Att. We’ve stayed a couple of other times on the north sites and had better reception. South side you shares electric post so that neighbor is really close on the one side. North side have individual electric hookups. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly. The sites are gravel, fairly level but our neighbor site puts our front door facing their front door, not the best set up. Lots of activity within the park; swimming pool, pickleball court, mini golf, outdoor shuffleboard and corn hole, small dog run/pen. Clubhouse has billiard table, ping pong table, TV, tables and chairs for get togethers, and an arcade style hoops shoot. Laundry room is inside the clubhouse. The pool area is kept fairly clean. However, the clubhouse area needs active maintenance. The mini golf greens are a bit torn up. Inside, the billiard table needs an ongoing cleaning of the felt and some mending of some of the torn mesh pockets. The 3 cues kept in the rack on the wall are all broken tipped. The rubber face of the ping pong paddles left at the table were separating and some piggy guest(s) flat out broke one of the handles. The carpet needs to be vacuumed once in a while and another of the piggy guest(s) had smashed the video camera monitoring the room from above the hoops shoot, presumably by shooting hoops from long distance and bouncing off the ceiling. There were only 3 working wash machines out of 6(?) and they all smelled of nasty gray water. Even so, we would stay here again based solely on the location. Besides Zion NP, hikers will enjoy the hike to Kanarra Falls and Jeepers will enjoy the run to the Toquerville Falls. Wifi is terrible in this area.
