And a gazebo area with picnic tables and outlets. It was quiet all three nights we were there. It’s also right by town and you can walk to the very cute seven coffee shop (highly recommend their spicy chai, it’s delicious). Also, definitely take a scenic drive to check out the Arikaree Breaks right outside of town, so pretty. Is this the most amazing campground ever? No. But for free with hot showers, pretty grass, quiet, and nice sitting areas, it’s a 5 in my book.
Side note, the sites are not well marked, especially if you’re dry camping, we kinda just pulled in wherever.

There are some trees on the outer edge of the campground where most of the dry camping spots are located. Consider leaving a little money even if you dry camp. The campground is off the end of the runway, but we only heard one private jet take off during our 18-hour stay.

No trees at electric hookup sites.
We were here over Memorial Weekend and was surprised to see that it was not busy. The circle drive was paved, but the street and entrance had some ruts that had to be navigated slowly. They had just had a large rain shortly before our stay so maybe they just hadn't gotten around to fixing the road.
The park is between a recycle area and the airport, but the noise level was okay. While we were there, the local spraying service was coming and going with their 5 spray planes, but we didn't have a problem with that.

It’s windy and hotter than the hinges, but otherwise great. There are at least 4 sites with power and there is a dump station. There’s picnic tables in some sites, Disc golf nets, a bathroom, trash cans. Very little shade and no shade on any of the sites with power. There are no site numbers. We are parked on grass that hasn’t seen much if any traffic. Not sure why we are the only ones here...
The charge for electric is $25 and if you don’t use electricity it’s free. On this Monday night there was only one place open to eat and that was The Caddy Shack at the golf course on the far west end of town. They stop serving promptly at 7:30. Food was pretty decent, though basic. Margaritas were strong.

There was some suspicious activity going on in the shower/bathroom. A van pulled up with a guy and gal and did not leave for a bout an hour later, so we were a little skeptical as to what activity was going on. We sleep the night without any issues and left the next morning. The price was right at $0. You could hook up to power.

I wish I had used the shower, b/c the next place we went I was stuck with a coin operated one and the water never got hot - here it was nice and hot and plenty of it. Oh well, if I ever go back!.
When we were there we were the only ones - I'm more comfortable when at least one other person comes. However, it was in town, so we felt perfectly safe.

We parked here, and intended to stay the night, but as we work from the road, we rely on usable cell signals. We carry T-Mobile and Verizon. There was a good, strong Verizon signal, but data performance was awful. Cell site connection to their network is apparently minimal.
Other comments: showers were exceptionally basic, with no shower curtains. Didn’t appear very clean, either. Prominent storm shelter at the park entrance.
Free if no electric, but rate asked for electric was relatively high for the type of park. Nobody appeared to be plugged in.
Park is at the end of the runway for a municipal airport.
