Overall Rating
We were looking for quiet and found it. The ground is littered with lots of broken glass, wire, and cans from days gone by. Super easy to walk around the desert. We would stay here again.

Overall Rating
A network of Forest Service roads and jeep trails on the west slope of the Pine Grove Hills. Most of the camping can be found south and west of the GPS coordinates. Some roads can handle bigger rigs, some are suited for 4x4's only. No lakes, streams, meadows or shade. Just sagebrush, mine shafts, miles of hiking, ATV and horse trails. Great stars at night but watch out for thunderstorms which will wash out the roads if they're heavy enough. As for campsites, nothing established really. Find a bare patch of level land and enjoy.
