8 sites are available to reserve. #1 is the southern most and next to the communal huge fire pit. Use the east entrance to come into the park.

I recently received an email saying it will now be $25 per night. That is still an incredible bargain, of course. The park is well kept, has tons of amenities and the sites themselves are excellent. The only "con" I can think of is that there is a 10pm curfew when the park gates get locked. They're not guaranteed to re-open until business hours the next morning, but the on-site camp manager usually had them open before 5am. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our FREE stay! It would have even been worth paying for! We were in the Houston area for some appointments and fun. Before we even backed in, one of the staff (unsure of their official title) came to check us in and give us the shower code.
We left our camper here while going into Houston for the day (several times) and felt completely safe with it. The entire park is gated and the staff are regularly patrolling. When I asked the staff what we needed to be cautious of and he said they don't have issues with crime in the park.
On the days we stayed in the park, I saw staff making a loop through the park at least every hour. The park was very clean and you have your own trash bin at your site that they come collect.
There were lots of people walking, running, kids playing sports, some RC car races, and a big group of kids camping while we were there. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and we didn't experience anything suspicious at all!

We had fun, plus close to shopping, grocery store. And yes it’s free, hookups included in that free part. 👍 We will be back!! It’s the only park in Harris county/Houston area that offers this amenity!!!

There’s really nice & level concrete pads, each with a power/water pedestal, garbage can, and sewer nearby. Backing in my 29’ travel trailer was easy and I nailed it on the first try. There’s still enough space left over on the pad to park my F250 long-bed too, so I’d guess 45-50’ vehicles could park here. There’s tow-vehicle parking across from the pads also.
My iPhone gets 50-75% signal on Verizon. Here in site #8 with partial tree blockage StarLink is still working decent with ~90mb download.
There’s about a half-mile of trails and plenty of activities available.
The folks in the site next to me had fire ants get into their camper, but so far I haven’t had an issue.
This is easily the nicest free site I’ve found between the East Coast and Texas so far.

We are here for 4 nights while visiting family. It’s on a city street so there is traffic noise, but not bad and very little at night. The park clocks the gates at 10 PM, so you have to keep that in mind. Showers are near the RV sites. We did not go in to check them out. During our stay on,y 3 of 8 sites were occupied. The reservation process was easy and quick. We would definitely stay here again.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #3, a FHU, BI site for free. Yes, that is correct. They do not charge for camping with full hookups. It is a very nice park. The roads are asphalt and the sites are concrete. Sites are level and pretty easy to back into even though they are perpendicular to the road. The bathhouse is right across the road and was clean. I didn’t use the showers. There is a smattering of shade. The sites are very close together. I had 2-3 bars 5G (could stream easily), no wifi, and lots of OTA channels. NOTE: the gates do lock at 10 pm. There is some road noise and airplane traffic (not enough to wake you, but noticeable.) The park has some nice amenities and there is easy access to Houston and all it has to offer. I would definitely stay here again. Site #1 would be the preferred site, #4 has a little bit larger front yard and #8 has a large back yard.

Enjoyed the park with many things to do. The town was huge and didn’t go exploring. Applied for campsite on line and had to fill out a form detailing all we were bringing plus send photo ID.

While the location is nice, BEWARE of the reservation requirement 10 days prior to your anticipated stay.
