There’s really nice & level concrete pads, each with a power/water pedestal, garbage can, and sewer nearby. Backing in my 29’ travel trailer was easy and I nailed it on the first try. There’s still enough space left over on the pad to park my F250 long-bed too, so I’d guess 45-50’ vehicles could park here. There’s tow-vehicle parking across from the pads also.
My iPhone gets 50-75% signal on Verizon. Here in site #8 with partial tree blockage StarLink is still working decent with ~90mb download.
There’s about a half-mile of trails and plenty of activities available.
The folks in the site next to me had fire ants get into their camper, but so far I haven’t had an issue.
This is easily the nicest free site I’ve found between the East Coast and Texas so far.

We are here for 4 nights while visiting family. It’s on a city street so there is traffic noise, but not bad and very little at night. The park clocks the gates at 10 PM, so you have to keep that in mind. Showers are near the RV sites. We did not go in to check them out. During our stay on,y 3 of 8 sites were occupied. The reservation process was easy and quick. We would definitely stay here again.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #3, a FHU, BI site for free. Yes, that is correct. They do not charge for camping with full hookups. It is a very nice park. The roads are asphalt and the sites are concrete. Sites are level and pretty easy to back into even though they are perpendicular to the road. The bathhouse is right across the road and was clean. I didn’t use the showers. There is a smattering of shade. The sites are very close together. I had 2-3 bars 5G (could stream easily), no wifi, and lots of OTA channels. NOTE: the gates do lock at 10 pm. There is some road noise and airplane traffic (not enough to wake you, but noticeable.) The park has some nice amenities and there is easy access to Houston and all it has to offer. I would definitely stay here again. Site #1 would be the preferred site, #4 has a little bit larger front yard and #8 has a large back yard.

Enjoyed the park with many things to do. The town was huge and didn’t go exploring. Applied for campsite on line and had to fill out a form detailing all we were bringing plus send photo ID.

While the location is nice, BEWARE of the reservation requirement 10 days prior to your anticipated stay.

As we were setting up, the manager drove up to us and checked us in, gave us the bathroom code and we were not bothered the rest of the week.
Starlink was intermittent at 29 down 7 up. Our Verizon phones were connecting at 2 bars. Through the cell antenna, both AT&T and Verizon were at 4 bars.

Our first time at a public park like this. We obviously enjoyed the free hookups but the RV spots weren’t very private to all the park traffic. The playgrounds stayed full which my daughter loved. Now the annoying part…. Nearly everyday we (the adults, kids, and dogs…) were woken up at 8am on the dot by them weed eating/ mowing/ collecting our trash (right outside our door)/ etc. it was frustrating. That being said- the staff was so nice. Our cat got out and got lost. They helped us look everywhere and allowed us to hang posters (we found our cat a day later thank goodness).
Overall, it’s a good stop for a free stay. Very well maintained.

Visiting family in Tomball made this a perfect fit. The reservation process was a little involved and required multiple emails and a photocopy of your drivers license. I reserved two months in advance and got the days I needed. Sites and hookups are top notch. The park is primarily used by walkers and there was a basketball camp in the morning when we were here. It was just the right level of activity to make the park feel safe. There are always employees nearby and they were all helpful and friendly. Police patrol regularly. We did not use the shower house, but saw some local transients use them each day. The gate is locked from 10 PM till 6 or 7 AM and you can not leave or enter when it is closed. Normal city and traffic noise during the day, quiet at night. If you need to be in Tomball or want to visit Houston this is a great free site. All in all it was much better than expected and it is great the city provides the service. Good shopping close with easy driving.
