“$12 Boondocking Beautiful Area”

I suppose the other reviews are for the RV park but this is for the Boondocking area. Pick a place to park and enjoy the views along with the deer, turkey, ducks and lake. I have a 13.5’ high rig and had to weave my way around some low limbs but made a great campsite by the fork in the road (entrance) and 30’ from the edge of the lake.... more

I have a 13.5’ high rig and had to weave my way around some low limbs but made a great campsite by the fork in the road (entrance) and 30’ from the edge of the lake. Awesome place for $12. Pull your rig all the way to the marina as there is plenty of space to make a u-turn after you pay and return to the park to find your utopia. Have fun!!

Unfriendly Staff, Run Down Facilities, Check In Process Somewhat Difficult. The Saving Grace Is The Location. It’s A Terrific Piece Of Land. Too Bad It’s Being Run And Managed Terribly.

Overall Rating
When we came into the park area there were all these dry camping flat areas right next to the water that were awesome but we had reservations at the hook up park and stayed there. Do this, go to the park office and get your $12 a night permit and enjoy great boondocking!! Turkey’s and deer all over the place and a boat ramp to boot!
