I am so used to dodgy grades in NF boondocks that I think the flatness of the road to this spot and the many gravel spots should be applauded. Great views of the Tetons and only feet from the NP. 5 days maximum for a 30-day period. The campers looked pretty well set up, which is sometimes unusual for a boondock.

While posted signs state a 5 day limit, some very nice camp hosts allowed us to stay a bit longer. Camped here in mid to late June 2020. I would imaging arriving here early on a Wednesday morning was likely a major reason we were able to snag this spot.
Very easy access here on a wide and well maintained (compared to the other gravel roads in the area) gravel road. This particular spot, about 2 miles from the main road, is just beyond the signage for the entire area and directly across from a road construction supply area. This site is easily big and accessible enough for the largest of rigs. We oriented ourselves with our door facing the woods and fire pit. Easy enough to get level and plenty of open canopy for solar panels to do their thing. We really enjoyed it here for its views and seclusion. Location-wise it is inside the Moran Junction entrance to the Nat'l Park, so it is relatively convenient to all the Tetons have to offer. The good thing is the distance from the main road and smoothness of the access road don't prolong driving times as other longer and less maintained roads accessing dispersed areas can be.
Only a couple of concerns with this site: first of all, being at the beginning of the area, there is a surprising amount of traffic going to and from sites further back. This led to not only an unexpected amount of road noise, but also a good amount of dust. Secondly, after the first couple of days, the mosquitos got pretty annoying. Always had to spray up.
Despite these two concerns, the good far outweigh the bad here. We would most definitely choose this spot again if we ever come back to the Tetons.

The site was pretty easy to find. Just put the coordinates straight into your maps. There is no sign at the entrance of the road. It’s just a dirt road. You pull up and about a few miles down the road you will see a construction zone and a gravel pit. This is where the sign is. Once you pass the sign, just pick a spot that’s open. The first 4 sites are made for big rigs. We have a 42ft fifth wheel and made the mistake of going past those spots and the road gets narrower and narrower as you keep going. Supposedly there is also a big spot on the upper road but we didn’t go up there. There is also a prime big spot at the very end of road close to the river but again it’s a you know what to get back there. This is a no frills site. No hookups, no bathrooms, no trash. There was man made fire areas but when we stayed there was a fire ban. We stayed in site 2 and were able to fit our fifth wheel and my sisters travel trailer.
Be aware this site is in the middle of nowhere and the closest gas station is about 15 miles away and the biggest town with restaurants and grocery store is Wilson and it was 30 mins away. At the gas station, there is dump station, trash, and water. The moose entrance and I forget what the other entrance was called to GTNP is only about 5 minutes away.
And all the signs say a 5 day limit but we obviously stayed way more. About 10 days in, a lady stopped and said we were there to long but let us stay for a few more days. 🤷🏽♀️
Would recommend this spot because of its proximity to GTNP and it’s price! Wish at least it had trash and you could stay longer are my only critiques.
We had no service with AT&T nor T-Mobile. My sister had maybe one bar at times with Verizon.

Sites #1-4 are great for big rigs. We're in a 43' diesel pusher and have a hard time leveling, but not here. The road in is quite dusty if it hasn't rained in a few days. But it's well maintained due to a nearby construction site used to build rural roads out here. Our big heavy rig had a smooth ride in. It took us two tries, but it was pretty easy to get level.
The Verizon cell signal here is odd (AT&T was not useable). Download is great, but upload is awful. That means you can stream Netflix just fine, but if you're trying to work, you may need to scoot your way down toward Jackson or Teton Village.
The views are great. The spaces are dispersed. It gets more packed on weekends, but even then it doesn't feel crowded. Other reviews mention lots of bugs due to nearby Spread Creek. In mid-June they weren't too bad at all. It's not the most private, given that spots are road adjacent. But for the area, this is a great choice for bigger rigs.

Biggest con and why we wouldn't stay again, the biting flies, flying ants, and mosquitoes we're by far the worst we've experienced in our 6 week RV adventure all over the west. We're in a pick up truck camper that pops up and we found ourselves stuffing the corners of the pop up with paper towels. If you have a trailer type rig and so want to go outside, it's probably fine for a night. But I wouldn't recommend camping here again at least in mid July.

Came in at 2pm on a Wednesday to find the entire place full of people. Upper, lower, and every boondocking location in between. Avoid this place during the summer. We ended up 1.5 hours south.
