It does have it’s down sides, the sites are small, kind of close and are not level, (35’ travel trailer). Bathrooms are very old and need upgrading. We have always stayed in the FHU loop . Because it’s close to us we will continue to camp and fish here. They also have a discount for Sr’s over 65.

We stayed here June 7, 2019 - June 9, 2019. Two nights with 3 other families with RVs. We stayed in the area just above the boat ramp. The sites were not real designated, but doable, two of them were pretty small. We have a 32 ft 5th wheel and our site was fine for us. Gravel parking for your RV. Our site had 50 amp, but not all do. There are sites with full sewer hookups. You can reserve by calling the ranger, but we could never get him to answer, finally had to text him and then he called back. We got sites, but all other sites were full. You don't pay at the time of reservation, there are boxes by the boat ramps with envelopes you pay after you get there. This is a small city of Seminole Lake. No jet skies, skiing or tubing. Mainly a lake for fishing..there was a swim beach that was nice and sandy, we did use it, it was very nice. There are several fishing docks and a fishing bridge, so very nice fishing from the bank available. Husband used a small 2 man boat and caught a few nice fish. I would probably not risk going without calling ahead for reservations if you are going on the weekends. There are allot of Geocaches in the park and many water ones, so take your kayak. There is a $5.00 per day charge for boats and kayaks/canoes. The lake has lots of stumps, so fishing is good, but don't plan on going too fast. The bathrooms do not have showers, looks like they had spots for them, but had been taken out. The bathrooms were not clean at all, but we use our RV so that didn't bother us. It was very quiet!

But this time the water was off due to the cold, so we used up the small amount of water in our fresh water tank and dumped at the RV dump. Therefore we were only charged the very low W/E rate. The park is quite a distance from I-40, but we generally use US 270 when heading to or returning from, Mena, AR anyway.
