My husband and two children stayed here with our 27ft travel trailer. As mentioned the RV park is north of Pagosa off a forest service road. The road was well maintained during our visit early in July. The scenery getting there was gorgeous. Our spot was very large and well situated. Each spot offered a good amount of privacy. Our water heater went out in our RV so we used the facilities. There were only two restrooms but they were very clean. I did have a grumpy person waiting for a restroom while I showered. They do limit you to 5 minutes which was hard to accomplish when showering.
The general store offered the necessities. Great pricing and good craft beer selection. We went horseback riding with our family. The horses were managed by Crazy Horse Outfitters. I highly recommend the two hour ride. The scenery was again gorgeous! The horses were all happy and healthy. Docking a star for the empty stock trailer that kept coming in and out of the property that appeared to be in one of the live in properties. WiFi at our spot was decent but great at the clubhouse.

Made reservation over phone 6 months ahead of time. Spoke with owner John very nice. Showed up from Texas with dad and place had no record of my reservation. Luckily John the owner remembered the phone call and did everything he could to accommodate us with a fully booked place. Had to move a few times during the two weeks and get creative dumping waiste. Owner was very apologetic and did not charge us a dime.
Place is hidden in the pines. Sites are sporadic around trees not lined up in parallel. Store there makes getting things you forgot very nice. The most remote full hookup sites you can get to the natural forest.
Bfarmer would stay here again
