“Good Spot for an Overnight”

The other review sums this up well.

It is right off the road and a great overnight spot to park. It is a trailhead for a hike to a cave possibly. The area at the bottom or another flat area about 500 feet up the road would have been good for our 25’ travel trailer.

The road was deeply rutted. We drove up it for a mile. We would not have done well with our trailer. About a mile in on the right, there is a great campsite for a tent or a highly mobile and light small trailer such as an R-pod.

The Verizon signal at the bottom was fast and strong.

Probably a good place if you have business in town but not great camping by any means.

“Fine spot for a short stay, maybe not ideal for a longer visit.”

The road was super windy and we got there late, close to dark. We opted not to follow the road all the way up, but instead used the first available patch of dirt! I think it was a day use area for ATVs, and it was in view of the nearby ranch that offered trail rides. You could hear the road from the spot we were at, but again, we did not follow the road all the way back, because it was late, dark, and we didn't know if our Civic could handle the rough road.
