We arrived late evening and the camp hosts were so accommodating and wonderful people. The restrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen so far on our trip. The campground is a must when/if we travel thru Utah again.

Wasn't super impressed with the campground itself, but you are in the valley of a beautiful area. You don't really have views though.
However, the camphost did come around and offer free firewood which was a plus!

We had an over night stop over at this park. Hosts were very friendly. Spaces were wide and had plenty of room. Nice park to take a walk. Be sure to watch for the turn if you are coming from the east as it's on a curve.

My 4 kiddos ages 2,3,8,13 all enjoyed swimming in the small river that runs through camp as it had various depths that they could all enjoy as well as plenty of fish for fishing. Definitely recommend stopping in for a local getaway or a break on the way through.

This was a great place for a last-minute trip and only 30 minutes from home. I reserved a spot next to the river and playground which is all my kids needed to completely ignore screen time. Camp host (Gale) was an absolute joy to talk to!
There are two sections of the campground; the south section has asphalt RV pads and all appear to be level. The north section has dirt RV lots and tent camping available. Each section has a pavilion (additional fee) and a playground. The fee as of this writing was $20/night; checkin was at 2:00 and checkout at 12:00.
There are no hookups but there are several water filling stations around the campground. T-Mobile service was one bar at best, but there is wifi available. I don’t know how far the range is as we were in the spot behind the camp host.
There are train tracks next to the campground but not too much train traffic during our stay. In fact, my kids had a great time watching the trains go by. I only heard 1 or 2 trains go by once it got dark. There is road traffic nearby but noise was minimal
Campsites have an anchored aluminum picnic table, fire pit with cooking grate, and BBQ grill. There is a ton of grass space around. We didn’t do any fishing but saw several others catching rainbow trout. Camp host said the river was filled with 1600 fish over the winter.
We look forward to many more trips out here!

So we really wanted to dry camp in nearby Diamond Fork Canyon but the road was closed to the “boondock” sites and the only a third of the Diamond Fork campground was over and was flooded by a throng of likeminded campers. So we grabbed a nice looking site at the Spanish Fork county run site. The sites have minimal amenities, which didn’t bother us since we are dry campers, and the grounds were clean and the backdrop was nice. The campground has a loop of paved spots and a loop of grass sites, I’d guess about 8-10 at each loop. They also had several primitive camping sites, I counted 8 on the far side of Spanish Fork river. Each site had a table, some were covered, a camp site grill and fire pit. There are bathrooms, but I didn’t check them out. They had recycling dumpsters but no other trash disposal. My first ding is that they require you to do a different type of “dry camping,” in that they do not allow alcohol on the grounds. Next, you can’t access the hills on the far side of the river, it’s all private property. There is a firing range at the south end of the campground and it was active until about 8:30 PM. The best part, honestly, were the 4 freight trains that chugged through at all hours of the night, blasting their horn as they passed over the park access road. We had good AT&T service but nothing from Verizon. All in all, it’s a nice campground, the host was pleasant, but it’s just in a terrible location, and just not for us.

Nice spot on the river. Clean and well maintained. All the infrastructure is in place for showers, but there are none. Intermittent trains, but all around nice place
