Overall Rating

Comfortable out of the way COE campground, water and electric services were on. Other than the host, only one or two other campers here mid-winter. This COE Lakes & Rivers Division campground isn’t listed on recreation.gov, it is an onsite pay vault facility. Had planned on staying one night, was so relaxing that we stayed an extra day while transiting towards the Gulf Coast. Some highway noise due to the proximity of the turnpike.

Overall Rating

This is a bit off I40. Probably will not camp here again because we are traveling west.
Good spot if you plan to stay several days.
Only 5 or 6 sites good for larger rigs.
Sites 25,26 and 23 in 2nd loop are the best.
1st loop good ONLY for small rigs and tents.
Corp really need to do some work on the sites.
Views are lovely.
