Overall Rating
Nice area adjacent to Little Bear Reservoir. The camp site was ample, but a little steep. There was a small parking pad that was adequate for our trailer with steps down to the table and fire ring. The lake is scenic, but in the area of the camp ground, there is brush all the way down to the water.
There is a resort on the other side of the lake with basic supplies available and rentals for canoes, etc.
The campground is heavily used and its facilities are older, so the vault toilets are not as nice as the newer concrete versions and they were not supplied with toilet paper as often as really needed.
There is no phone service in the campground, but Verizon signal can be had along the road over the dam that is sufficient for voice calls.
