Our tow vehicle AC quit and we needed to have it looked at.

This was a 10 minute drive.

It’s a fairground. The bathrooms needed cleaning and there was a number to call. Booth not staffed but directs you to the new RV park nearby. That area is nicer, and the security guard said that as well.

After looking at both areas, we chose the $30/night grass site for the dog. We opted to use our trailer facilities too.

Only 2-3 other units were occupied.

It met the unplanned need and has good access to downtown.

Trains & I40 run nearby.

The office was very easy to work with and the sites were simple. It is a fairgrounds and there are railway tracks that are occasionally used. So yes, occasionally a train but only 1 or 2 a day. We had need for mobile technician and office was very helpful with contact recommendations.
It was rainy and there was low spots for some sites but also higher sites. Dump station on site. It’s in the center of everything and easy access to freeways.

This place was just fine. If you want to hang out in OKC, cool town btw, this is as close as you can get. It's a little on the expensive side for a water/electric site in a parking lot but it is what it is. You can call the campground staff and they will help you get a spot picked, they are mostly 30-amp with some 30/50 sites. Then you can go self-pay at the kiosk. There were a ton of spots available even with a horse event going on at the fairgrounds on a weekend, you should have no problem getting a site.
