We enjoyed the 40 minute Park Ranger talk about the park in the Amphitheater that started at 8pm.

This was a nice campground in a good location. Ranger presentations at the ampitheater (walking distance) each night. The Black Canyon is amazing. The scenic drive has many overlook pull-offs with views into the canyon gorge. Nice Visitors Center.

B-18 was a pull-through, with loads of space and electricity.
We went to the ranger talks by the amphitheater and they were great.
There is a trail by loop C that is 1 mile long and takes you to the visit center - great views from it.
I would easily stay here again.

Some of the spots are kind of tight for a rig like ours (29 ft travel trailer) but overall we really enjoyed the campground. It was very quiet and peaceful, and you still get a nice nature feel in most of the spots.
We enjoyed walking around the nature trails and this was a great spot to go explore the park from. We were there after the main summer season and so the Amphitheater programs were already over.
We did a campsite review for this spot as well as a "6 Must Do's at Black Canyon of the Gunnison" which people have really seemed to enjoy.
I'll share both of those below if you'd like to check them out

We stayed in B loop with electric hookups. The area is clean and well maintained. No great views at the campsite, but awesome views while driving around the national park. No cell service. Used Cedar Creek RV Park for water fill ($5) and dump station ($10).

We stayed in the winter off season in Loop A, since it’s the only loop open. They plow Loop A and all pull through sites. There was no fee for the campsite, just the park entrance fee. There’s no power in this loop and there’s no water since it’s shut off in the winter. There are pit toilets. There were a few campers but they were spread so far apart since everyone needed pull through sites cause it snowed a lot recently. Some places the snow is up to your thighs and some places it’s up to your waist.
Even without amenities, we were happy a campground was open in the Colorado winter.
[Internet. Verizon via iPhone has no signal. However, with our booster Nighthawk MR-1100 - 25 mbps down and 1 mbps up with 200 ping. I don’t think a booster will save your signal in the whole campground though.]

Site 11B is very private, pull through is perfect for a small trailer and has electric hook up. There are no showers in this campground, and you can't fill your water tank. Potable water is available to fill a container though. Only one spigot per loop.
From the campground, a trail with nice views will take you to the visitor centre.
