“It is beautiful here! ”

The views are amazing! The Ruby Mountains on one side and the reservoir on the other! The downside is the bugs-lots of mosquitoes and mayflies...annoying!
Covered picnic tables, fire pits and grills at each site. Water available at every other campsite. This campground is about to get more popular; word is that soon there will be electricity at each site.
Short drive to Lamoille Canyon, which is beautiful-and there are hiking trails there!
Elko is also nearby and has an excellent museum and some historical buildings as well as restaurants, etc.
Except for the bugs, this has been one of my favorite places to camp! With electricity and no bugs, it would have gotten a 5 star rating!

Sagebrush with a few small trees by a large lake. Great views of the Ruby Mountains.. no hookups, dry camping. Lots of bugs in late May.
