Overall Rating
The Elgin Park Loop area has many locations for wild camping. Most are in the tree line bordering large meadows and they are lovely. We happened to be in the area over July 4th weekend and found the main camping areas pretty full and also with lots of ATV traffic. On the advice of a local camper, we went in a ways further and found a beautiful spot where we could be by ourselves. It's on uneven ground and not very level but we were able to get comfortable. Highly recommended.
