This tiny city campground with only 9 sites is an amazing value! Only $10/night includes paved sites, electric, water, and trash service at each site, bathrooms & showers (get key from Police Dept), with lots of grass and shade, and free WiFi! Several jungle gym structures & swings for kids. South end of town diagonal from the grocery... more
This tiny city campground with only 9 sites is an amazing value! Only $10/night includes paved sites, electric, water, and trash service at each site, bathrooms & showers (get key from Police Dept), with lots of grass and shade, and free WiFi! Several jungle gym structures & swings for kids. South end of town diagonal from the grocery store and a pizza place. Quite town so despite being on the road way, it was not a big deal. Golf cart town meant we got to chat with a few locals out for an evening ride around town.

It world be hard to camp here with a large rig. Ours is 32' not including the truck length. The camp stalls are a total of 35' long or less. Careful on the turn because there's a large tree with a low branch. Didn't check out the bathrooms but for $10 a night with water, electric and a dump station this is a awesome campground! You'd want to get there in the daylight for easier parking as the sites are close together. Overall 5 stars!

This little campground is a pleasant place to stay. But if you have a big rig (we have a Super C), the spots can be tough to get into, we could not easily make the turn into the entrance. With our long wheelbase, my talented husband ended up backing in the exit and driving backwards into site 6. Most sites are 30 amps. Per chance... more
This little campground is a pleasant place to stay. But if you have a big rig (we have a Super C), the spots can be tough to get into, we could not easily make the turn into the entrance. With our long wheelbase, my talented husband ended up backing in the exit and driving backwards into site 6.
Most sites are 30 amps. Per chance, site 6 has 50 amp power! Spot checking a few other sites did not reveal any other 50 amp power pedestals.
As stated previously, you now pay via a drop-box on the wall outside the restrooms.
Restrooms were dirty. There was no indication of how to get a key to the shower.
Massive thunderstorms kept us from doing much in town. We would stay here again.

The grounds were very well maintained but the shower house left much to be desired. Per police officer I spoke with, guests are no longer required to obtain a permit or get bathroom keys. You now just submit payment in the lockbox by the bathrooms. The Officer said this was due to COVID. They should probably go back to issuing keys via... more
The grounds were very well maintained but the shower house left much to be desired. Per police officer I spoke with, guests are no longer required to obtain a permit or get bathroom keys. You now just submit payment in the lockbox by the bathrooms. The Officer said this was due to COVID. They should probably go back to issuing keys via permit so that only paid guests can use the restrooms. That said, I have other options for restroom use so just did not use. That said this is still a very nice park and a great option for an overnight while passing through.

McDonald’s, Dairy Queen, subway, great German authentic restaurant, burger place, gas station with diesel, and grocery all within a few blocks away.
Cute downtown area and nice community.

There is a Drive-In Movie theater in town. Close to roads so a little traffic noise, but it died down in the evening. Would stay here again.
