Overall Rating

We camped in mid-August. The park often fills on weekends, but most week days have something open. There are 2 loops - I suggest the south loop, which is quieter, more spacious, closer to the showers and more secluded.

The campground has water, flush/pit toilets, showers, dump station, firewood and ice sales, concession stand, rangers that patrol in the evening, fire rings, picnic tables, and lots of nature.

The park is huge, with miles of hiking trails, especially around the falls, which are amazing. There is also a swimming beach, playground and kayaking.

We had a great time. I would recommend reserving, especially on weekends.
