Great views. Fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. It’s on a bluff above the water so it’s windy, but beautiful. The sites are close together. The camp host was friendly and the bathrooms were very clean, but there’s no potable water.

Price reflects senior discount. This is an all first-come-first-serve campground. Dry camping and I didn't see.any water available. Water and dump station are up the road at Kalaloach Campgeound. Kalaloach is all reservation, so if you want an ocean view and aren't a planner, this is your best bet in this area. The views and the friendly host made this worth staying. The payment/site claiming system not so much. There is a board at the bathrooms that shows all the sites. Sites with cards in the slots are taken. Sites without cards are available, in theory. If a site is empty, and not paid for, it can be claimed. We had paid for our ocean site for the next 5 days and put the payment in the slot for the site. I was approached the next morning by someone attempting to accuse me of stealing the site claiming they had paid for it. When I went to look at the board, sure enough, my payment slip was no longer visable and someone else's was. I offered to take it up with the host and they backed down. I did speak with the host later and found this wasn't an unusual tactic. As we're in a camper van and I knew we would have to leave for supplies, I was concerned. She made a note about it and the next time I checked the board, my slip was visable again. We had no issues after that. Just make sure that you leave stuff in your spot to show it's occupied if you need to take your RV with you. Verizon and AT&T worked well near the front.of the campground, but towards the back, AT&T was pretty spotty (no booster)

Stayed one day. Nice view and very quiet. No loud music or parties. Easy access to the beach. We wil come back again. Likely weekend will be much busier during summer. You can tell how long people are staying at the pay station.

We found this spot by accident. We came out to the area on a day trip from where we were staying outside Olympia/Tumwater, wanting to see the ocean. We happened to turn off into the campground hoping for somewhere to park so we could wander around on the beach with the kids. We found an amazing coastline, full of sand, rocks and incredible, giant driftwood. We decided it was the perfect place to drive up to with our travel trailer the next week.
We arrived to camp on a Tuesday, a handful of days before the campground closed for the season, hoping to miss the weekend crowds and get a spot with a view. There were only a handful of sites still available, but one of them worked perfectly for our 32’ travel trailer. We pulled in, set up and got ourselves registered.
Sites are first come, first serve. The host is incredibly helpful & friendly. You can tell he really enjoys the area - he is full of interesting info and ‘must see’ advice.
There was easy access for our low to the ground rig. The gravel road is well maintained, with zero potholes. Picnic tables & firepits at all sites. Some tent only sites. Amazing views. Easy access to the beach below. Verizon cell service was great. Despite it being fairly full, the campground was very quiet. Almost no generators being used, and most campers were in for the evening fairly early. We had an amazing time with our kids, and would definitely go back!

Minutes after arriving, while my bf was registering us, I was just about to tie my dog up when a poop-faced couple came-a-walking. I said a cheery, "Hello!" The woman, instinctively, sort of almost smiled back. Her lips quickly turned slanted to match her constipated husband's face, though. A few minutes after that, my bf was back, and we were headed to the beach. He was ahead of me, on the beach, and I was leashing my dog by our RV. The camp host drove by, lectured me about leashing dogs, then yelled down to my bf at the water. Our dogs are very nice, friendly, mind their own business, don't run up to people, don't fight other dogs, don't bark, they did nothing that could annoy anybody, and there was barely anybody on the beach because it was May. In fact, I don't think anybody was walking on that beach the first time we got scolded. We did keep our dogs tethered the rest of our stay except for a few times, and each time they were off leash momentarily we got busted. We got four lectures about leashing our dogs in less than 24 hrs. So, this is a great spot if you don't like dogs! For dog lovers, though, it was pretty ridiculous to have to walk them on a leash on the unpopulated stretch of beach. Heck, when you go further south, there are dogs running around everywhere on the beach, in crowded locations. I'd rather be there. Other than that, it was awesome being so close to the ocean! Five stars for that. But there were no water taps anywhere, not even in the bathroom, so you couldn't fill a tub to wash dishes. We had to wash dishes with Aquafina.
