South Bay Resort & Campground

I don't want to say we didn't like this campground - it was perfectly nice if your expectations are for basic facilities. The owners/staff were really nice and helpful. Our check-in was very cheerful with an offer to deliver the firewood. Seems there are a good number of seasonal lots here plus many vacationers in the waterfront sites. The sites are close so we got pretty well acquainted with the neighbors and dogs on both sides of us. It was a definite community feel which is why I supposed everyone really seemed to be enjoying themselves. Shower house and dump station were basic but very clean and everything worked. Great views of the bay and a perfect place to head out early for the ferry. WiFi at the office and several bars of roaming on Bell.
