Question about Snowbird Mesa - Poverty Flats Dispersed Camping

Are there fire pits/rings at Poverty Flats? Can you use a portable fire pit if there isn't any? Did you feel safe there? And, what's the scenery like? It looks pretty blank.

It is pretty blank! But it’s got great views (barren landscape but beautiful sunsets!) and it’s safe and easy to get to and you can use your propane firepit! The wind blew pretty good one of the days we were there, so keep your awning in if you leave!

There are some fire rings made of nearby rocks. You can use a portable fire pit. I did feel safe there. I only stayed a few days, but met some neighbors and found them to be snowbirds just like me. The scenery is desert -- rocks, brush, washes, etc.
