New ownership as of 8/19/22 has been a disappointment. There is no clear on-site management. Rumor has it the owner is a roofer from the D.C. area who owns several RV parks, but he is never around. (There is no way to contact the owner; he has made no information available and per property records, his address is an accountant in Fort Meyers.) I guess he could have been here after he purchased but he never made himself known. (I work from home so I’m always here.) His transition team and buddies that come to work periodically are not friendly and sometimes rude.
Rules/policies/rent/office hours changes have no advance notice and are communicated poorly, if at all. Passport America discounts were cancelled 8/19/22. Rules are not uniformly enforced. Rent jumped $100/month on 1/15/23 per letter on everyone’s door – I suspect to fund all the new improvements to make this an RV “resort” as opposed to campground. For a resort, go to Renegades on the River.
Restrooms/shower, laundry facilities, cable and wifi are decent. There is a grassy area to park extra vehicles/boats/trailers. A new pickleball court, corn hole boards and gazebos have just been installed.
In the office building, there is a small rec room with card tables and a closet space with a broken down treadmill and elliptical. Neither work well.
There is a coded gate, but the code has only changed twice in the last 15 months and one or both arms get stuck open frequently, negating the “security”.
Nighttime street lighting is inadequate for walking after dark without flashlights and the speed bumps are tripping hazards in the dark.
The pool is pretty and kept clean. Lounge chairs and sun shading is around the pool.
There’s a nice stream running through the property and 3 tortoises in a pen by the office.
Some lots are long and asphalt; the rest are shorter and dirt/gravel. There are picnic tables, charcoal grills and fire rings at each site.
Water is from a well and pressure is low. Underground pipes break periodically so expect unannounced outages.
Sewer is a septic field at the SW corner of the property and is very stinky for those sites close by.
The campground is located in a nice wooded area with the larger sites under mature trees. There is a nice half mile trail on the adjacent vacant parcel to walk yourself or your dog. There’s also a fenced dog park, about 15’ x 60’, at the NW corner of the property.
I’d recommend Cherry Blossom for a night or 2 but not long term. I’m leaving after 15 months for a place where I feel respected and valued.
I was in a 41' 5th wheel.

As mentioned previously, this is a mix of permanent, seasonal and short term sites. There is a new place about to open in Cresecent City called Fish Camp that is on the lake. Will be checking that out next year when coming to visit friends.
Catmandoo would stay here again

This RV park is located within a very small, remote town of Crescent City, outside of Ocala National Forest. We happened to stop here because we wanted a affordable place to stay, and with our Passport America discount, it was a decent price. There was a mix of permanent residents, "snowbirds", and some campers staying for a few nights. We ended up staying longer than expected because our dogs were ill, and we utilized the pharmacy at the VERY closely located, Winn Dixie (which, was a +), but, would probably only stay here again if we had a long day of driving and needed a spot to stop for the night.
The staff at Sned Acres was EXTREMELY nice and helpful and are really trying to improve the campground. We actually camped right next to Don, a very friendly staff member who tried to help us hook up cable (but, it did not work). We did figure out that some sites did have cable, but, ours did not. Also, the WiFi that was provided here did not work for us either. Our phone service was fine, though (Verizon). They do have group campfires and karaoke, if you're lucky!
EXPLORING: This campground was a 45 minute drive to Juniper Springs and 30 minutes to Alexander Springs in Ocala National Forest - highly recommend seeing both! We would stay at the Juniper Springs campground next time we visit the area - it looked beautiful! Also, we hiked at the Crescent Lake Conservation area, which was only a 15 minute drive! Free, remote, and AMAZING scenery (hidden gem)!!!!
DOGS: This was a dog friendly place, with some walking trails through the forest. Don treated our pups to a "welcome" biscuit. =)
