Adding a review to help other RV travelers know that the southbound side is confirmed open again. 3 lanes. Auto shut off 40 seconds push button rinse hose. Pulled right up behind camper van in middle lane.

Smokey Point Rest Area was closed due to RV campers using it as their permanent residence. Both Smokey Point rest areas northbound and southbound reopened Friday, July 29, 2022 to passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles. RV parking remains closed, but the RV dump station is open. Southbound is currently closed but northbound is open for dump station only. Too many folks were camping in the rest stop and that’s how they are handling it.

This review is for the dump station. There are three lanes of free dumping. That's great, thank you Washington DOT. Yet you'll want to avoid this during crowded times, for example Memorial Day weekend. We waited nearly an hour to dump this weekend. Doh! Next time, we are going to try the Sedro-Woolley Wasterwater Treatment plant. h... more
