We stopped for one night here in our 35' Class A and toad (didn't unhook). It's set 3 miles off the main road but the access road is smooth. The site is very clean and down in a hole next to a little creek with great views of the surrounding mountains. The short .25mile gravel path down into the site is sloped and a little rough but nothing too unexpected given it's remote location. We stayed May 10th and were the only people there so we could have ran our generator all night but choose not to even though it got very cold!
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and if we found ourselves in this remote area of the country, we'd happily stay again!
Timber would stay here again

Tried to park here with 34' 5er. Long term campers (road crew works I suspect) had all the larger & level spots. Would work for smaller RVs as an overnight.

“nice spot for smaller rigs”

Nice spot for smaller rigs. We have a 42' 5th wheel and probably could have got into 1 spot but drive down is narrow. Just drove to check on when staying at Birch Creek. Really nice spot for smaller rigs (under 30 ft I would say). right near stream. Pit toilet.
