Ours was a pretty level gravel pull-through site with full hook-ups, including 50amp service. Easy to get around to our site on the paved drive, although we did have to watch for some pretty large potholes. There is plenty of room between sites, so we didn’t feel wedged in. Pros Nice clean area, very clean bathhouse, full hookup, close to small town with a surprising number of choices to eat, sites fairly spaced out. Cons Basically the sites on the perimeter are the best due to more shade available, you are below the dam so you can’t see lake, but the largest issue was a sewer odor that seemed to eman... more

Overall a nice well spaced out campground. The hosts were friendly and kept the park clean. The spots are mostly level gravel. We drove into Kansas City a few times which is about 40 minutes away. Next to a large lake with fishing allowed. We would have spent more time outside if it wasn’t so hot and if there wasn’t so many bugs. The... more
