Smith Lake RV Park

This place worked for what we needed. We found ourselves needing an overnight spot at 9:30 at night. The park manager answered the phone and said they saved the first pull through spot for over nighters. It is gated with a nice digital iPad type key pad. When we arrived at first glance in the dark it appeared to be an okay spot. Newer trailers with newer trucks were in the spots closest to our pull thru. In the morning we did realize that it mostly full time residents. The shower house is for sure 1 star. The on-site laundry had older machines but was mostly clean and the machines worked well. 1.75 for wash and 2.00 for dryers. The spot was a level concrete pad surrounded by gravel. The electric was wired correctly according to our surge protector. Water was clear.
This park has seen better days and looks to have probably been a nice place when new. It just seems run down and there are some really old run down full time rvs on the lot. The site manager was super nice and asked multiple times if we needed anything else

Mostly permanent residence but Christian was extremely nice and helpful . Spot was full hookup on cement drive as a pull through so very easy in and out. Only a couple mile off 1-10. Even had a little lake and big field to let our dog run around. Would use as a stop over going through 1-10.
