Made the drive up in a 38 ft w tow, made it fine!
Not much room for biking but the lake is super nice!
Loved being tucked in the forest but neighbors are really close!

“Nice for a free site”

We arrived at 930PM on July 5th. The road leading in was gravel but had no serious holes or bumps. Our front wheel drive Camry sedan did fine. There was no fee. We found 2 unoccupied spots. The spot was nicely distanced from the neighboring sites. It had some pine trees separating it from the others. The fire pit had some trash in it (cigarette butts and cups). Looked like someone partied at the site recently and didn’t clean up. We liked how the site felt private and there was space and trees between the sites. The bathroom was kind of gross with toilet paper on the ground but it didn’t smell too bad. There was some noise in the morning due to the local logging business. Also we heard a gunshot a ways away on some private land.
