Smith Grove Camp Grounds

Will buckle and dime the hell out of you, the worst sites we’ve been at in a LONG TIME. Totally unlevel, poorly marked. Every single individual i interacted with in the campground store is incredibly rude. The full time residents are absolutely the worst campers I’ve ever experienced.

They nickel and dime everything - 20 dollars for a “optional key fob” deposit but there’s no pin pad. And they won’t open the gate so idk how they can say that’s “optional”

So many ill behaved dogs - many of the full timers don’t control their animals and let them just run off their decks (looking at the lovely lady with the horrid poodles in row d) if I’d bothered to say anything - the management obviously wouldn’t have cared.

The sites themselves are all on a hill with zero attempt to mark or level them. So to sum it up - the attitude and area are very much like butler, pretty crappy.

The weekly rate is *laughable* for this shit hole.

Not the type of place I normally go to but all right if you like that sort of thing. It has everything you need. Free pump out on Monday and Fridays. Lots of golf carts.
