Question about Slough Creek Campground

Question for those who have stayed in site #8 at Slough Creek Campground, was being in close proximity to the water pump an issue (e.g., heavy foot traffic, noise, etc)? Thanks!

We are camped in site 8 right now. Noise is not an issue, the foot traffic is not bad. But I do have to wonder why nearly all of the people are coming to fill one or two quart size bottles rather than a larger jug or bucket. We're in a truck camper with tank but if we were tent camping we'd use a 5 gallon jug.
