Very nice place to stay close to the Badlands. Nice showers and laundry rooms. Bathrooms are cleaned daily. Owners are helpful and nice. Really bad mosquitos though, so remember bug spray! There is free WiFi, but at times it was fairly slow.

Staff was very unfriendly when we checked in yesterday. That alone would make me not want to return next time I am in this area.

Cons: Mosquitoes are the worse we have seen this trip. There were hundreds of them in the grass by our campsite and you're attacked as soon as you step outside. We walked over to Wall Drug in the afternoon and when we returned at dusk, walking up the driveway, we were swarmed by dozens of mosquitoes.
We've camped by lakes in Michigan and Wisconsin and had mosquitoes there, but not at the scale this park has them. It would be a great park if they could reduce the mosquito population. If you stay, wear repellents.

We mostly avoided it.

Wish there was a little more shade at the campsites but otherwise it was a great stay! Clean showers, good cell signal, friendly staff, easy access. Within walking distance to Wall Drug mall/restaurant/gift shop if you should find yourself so inclined. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Centrally located and one of the only games in town but it's truly just ok. Sites are on top of each other. It's a great base camp for the Badlands but we will boondock or try another spot next time. This is really only if you must have the full hookup otherwise I would try elsewhere.

We were dispersed camping overlooking the badlands when the rain and extreme winds was more than we can handle. To compound our crisis we had a broken leaf spring on the trailer. When the leaf springs were being replaces the mechanic said 3 of the tires were separating. A tire shop could not get our tires until Monday and the campground was closing on Saturday for the season.
Michael at the tire shop contacted the owner of the campground and help arrange a 2 day extension.

Sites are a bit close together, but very quiet and nice campers. Bathrooms and showers were very clean, which is our number one take on campgrounds. Easy walk to downtown too.
Would highly recommend when traveling off the interstate for a good night rest and checking out the area...

Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, we made a reservation at this campground for late April, 2020, and we obviously cannot make it out there now. Per their policy, you have to cancel BY PHONE ONLY (NO email) at least 48 hours prior. I have been trying since late March (it is now mid-April) and you can't leave them a voice mail ("...memory full, enter an access code...") and no one answers the phone! Even called Good Sam and they could not reach them. I have sent several emails and inquiries on their website and no response. On hold now with my credit card company to see if I can dispute the charge (am within the 60 day window). More than willing to pay their $15 cancel fee, just would like a response. A shame in these times they are acting this way.
