Skyview RV Campground

We had a great 3-day stay at Skyview this past weekend. We were unsure exactly what to expect but it went above our expectations. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because of the lack of trees/shrubs between some sites. Give it a few years and it will be a 5-star campground. The campsite is new so there is not a lot of trees between sites but there is a bit of distance and the angle of the RV's parked at the sites around us made it so that you really did have privacy on your site itself. The bathrooms are amazing for a campground with flush outhouses with individual sinks at one end and full restrooms with free showers in the middle. This site also has the most amazing playground I have seen at a campground before. It was very quiet after 10:30 pm and the sky was amazing at night. You get one bar of cell service (we are Canadian so none of our cell companies is the ones listed below that is why it is not filled out) and can pay for wifi ($5 for 24 hours) but check at your site first to see if you are close enough to receive the signal. We liked our site on the backside of the campground and would recommend that side to be away from the road (we were a back in site) The pull-through sites in the middle are very large but offer less privacy if that is important to you. It is an easy walk to the lakes which was a huge benefit on a very sunny July weekend as day parking for the lake went past the campsite. We would definitely return and will.

Note: this is owned by BC Parks at this time but Manning Park resort is doing the booking until the end of this summer. After that, you will book via the BC Parks website. BC Parks staff are on site all the time and the little store/check in is staffed from 4-11pm each day.
