“Quiet and close to Napa wineries”

Reviewed Dec 17, 2017

Overall Rating

We were here in December so it was very empty and quiet, which is always a bonus. Friendly service. We were about 10-15 minutes from Napa, but a bit further from the wineries in Calistoga (45-50 min) which is where we spent most of our time. We paid $32 per night for water and electricity. It’s $35 per night for full hookups but there’... more

“Good price for the location ”

Reviewed Nov 10, 2017

Overall Rating

The location is the best thing about this park. If you have a car, you are minutes away from downtown Napa. There are vineyards within biking distance, just make a reservation first because they are not open on a regular basis. The shower was hot and the water pressure was good. No fire pits and RVs are close together.

“Location is this park's best quality”

Reviewed Sep 13, 2017

Overall Rating

Skyline Wilderness Park has a great location for visiting Napa. If staying in Napa Valley is your priority, then this park will do. There are trails for hiking, biking & horses too. The sites are dirt and we're quite dusty. The small amount of grass around the site was FULL of very painful thorns - don't take a single step without sho... more

“Rude service, dust bowl, dry and rocky”

Reviewed Aug 17, 2017

Overall Rating

I really wanted to enjoy this site but alas it was not to be. Unbelievably dry and dusty campground. Completely unusable WiFi and when we asked about it the girl at the counter said "oh, there is nothing I can do. Just go to Starbucks." Was really excited about the hiking trails. They were unfortunately also very dry, dead, and poor... more

“Close to Napa and Sonoma + it has walking trails and disc golf!”

Reviewed Jun 20, 2017

Overall Rating

We booked a week here because we had friends vacationing in Sonoma. The drive to Sonoma was 15 miles, and only 3 miles from downtown Napa! This park is enormous + 850 acres! It has numerous trails, a disc golf course, a dog run, and a garden to walk through. The front kiosk staff was very nice and reliable (had a package delivered ... more

“Great location, friendly hosts, decent rates”

Reviewed Jun 01, 2015

Overall Rating

We stayed here for the bottlerock music festival. Prices were jacked due to the event, but the planning of the spaces, very friendly staff and perfect location for reaching fairgrounds, downtown and shopping made the rate seem low. We were in the overflow area in a grass field, each spot had water hookups only. The hikes, mounta... more
