Saguaro is a lovely park with many amenities. The lease-sites are huge. We took the park tour, which I highly recommend. Every SKP park is a bit different and the casitas at Saguaro are incredible. The landscaping and attention to detail throughout the park is delightful. Everything is immaculate. The staff and residents were all very friendly. We were encouraged to join the daily 4pm happy hour and had live music one evening. The only sour note were a few derogatory political banners which kind of undermined the welcoming vibe. I know those are not allowed in other SKP parks and I’d encourage Saguaro to adopt that policy.
It is also an excellent base to explore the surrounding area. We did day trips to Tombstone, Bisbee for the Queen Mine tour, and Patagonia Lake with a stop at the Meading Room. It’s also a great place to relax, we loved the large dog park and ability to walk/play off-leach on adjacent BLM land. Another huge plus is the inexpensive laundry with a large top-loader for bedding in the facilities building. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to return.
We had 2-3 bars of Verizon 4G, but found the park wifi to be less than reliable.

I love this park! It is so clean, spacious and friendly! $5 to dry camp, and my first week was only $78. Perfect place to stay while you explore this area of Arizona. I will be back!

This is an outstanding example of an RV park. One must be an SKP member to use. Dry camp sites are available for $5/night. Plenty to do in the area or just hang out at the park. This is somewhere that I always try to work into my trip.

Everyone is responsible for keeping the RV Park clean and spotless. Owners are on committees to ensure this happens. While we were here, we joined the quilting group, went to ice-cream social, hiked on the BLM land just outside the park and more! It is close to lots of attractions - Bisbee, Tucson, Kartchner Caverns SP, Tombstone, and more. They have full hookups w/50 amp electric, no OTA channels, AT&T was 2-3 bars of LTE with good up and down speeds for streaming. Site 117 was level and included a nice patio we could enjoy to get out of the sun. We enjoyed our stay here and even put down $ to get on their “hotlist” to become a member down the road.

Site 281 is at the intersection of four roads and is noisy so for that reason I wouldn’t recommend it. That is the only negative of this park for me.

We've stayed at this Co-op Escapees RV park several times over the years and have never been disappointed. Many times we considered getting on the waiting list to become leaseholders and this time we finally went for it! This park is so popular with Escapee members, that there is about a two year waiting list to become a member of the park. But even if you never decide to get your own lot, Saguaro SKP park is a great place to stay whether you want to be in the area for just a day or two, a week, a month or the entire winter. The park is within easy day tripping distance to Tombstone, Bisbee, Ramsey Canyon, Kartchner Caverns, Fort Bowie, Cochise Stronghold, Chiricahua National Monument and many other attractions.
We dry camped for one night before we were able to move to a full hook-up lot, where we stayed for a week. With taxes and electricity, the price came to about $18/night. For that price we got complete access to all the park's facilities and were welcome to join in on any of the activities. One night we attended a fabulous (and free) bluegrass concert in the clubhouse and one morning we took advantage of the breakfast cooked up by volunteers to order for only $5 or $6 a person.
Special kudos must go out to the gentleman from the welcoming committee who gave us the grand tour of the park and even offered the use of his generator one night when we were dry camping and it was forecast to be down in the mid-thirties. This park really is all about community!
PS - while primarily a destination park for those over 55, this park welcomes any RVer over the age of 18. Self-contained rigs only; no tents.

The rate was $50 for a week because we hadn't stayed there before and we are Escapee members. You have to pay electricity separate but it's extremely cheap. This price for full hookups plus cable is amazing. There are quite a few attractions nearby that are worth seeing.
The wifi is so/so but cell service is decent enough to make up for it. The laundry room is nice and they have a separate machine in the tool area for pet bedding (they also have a loan-a-tool program!).
Even at the regular price, if you're in the area, this is a great place to stay if you're an Escapee member.

The check-in and check-out were so simple, the dry-camping parking area is clean and quiet, and everyone we ran into while out on a walk was SOOO friendly. The dry-camping is super easy for getting in and out without a lot of fuss if you're just over-nighting, and Benson has a Walmart, Safeway, and a lot of other things if you need stocking up.
If you need a spot to overnight, I definitely recommend this one!
