Only a mile from Devils Lake state park. 1/2 mile from a very nice brewery with great food.

The campground is well maintained, and the sites are a good size. They have activities planned for kids and families on the weekends. The swim pond is great, and there are plenty of activities along the swim pond for kids and adults. It was busy over the weekend days, but during the week we felt like we had the campground to ourselves.

This campground is focused on seasonal and long-term residents. The office claims to be open but it rarely is. The hosts — when they’re around — are very, very inquisitive. As full-time RVers, we found it challenging to maneuver and make turns. The sewer opening lacks any threads. We noticed several sites with above-ground PVC pipes. Several sites built porches. Apparently, the renters are required to cut the grass on their own sites. We watched several cut theirs. Ours remained uncut. It’s just not the best stop for short-term visitors.

Our site was wet from recent rains and on just a slight incline to the pole so I had to park a bit further away than I wanted too. An extra 25' 30amp extension cord came in handy.
The prettiest sites seemed to be further back on the property in a wooded hilly area but those where for tents only.
We did not spend a lot of time in the campground during the day, went hiking at Devil's Lake.
Interestingly, the campground is currently for sale. Hopefully remains open.
