Overall Rating

Sites are well spaced and surrounded by pine trees. It is close to the road, but because it’s so high up, you didn’t hear any road noise. We were in the upper loop. Clean restrooms. Sites were well maintained, Host has been here 7 years.

We were planning to stay here for just overnight on our way to Prince George but we ended up stay two nights. When we checked in, we talked to our camp host. Looking for a one night wayside campground for our 28 foot travel trailer, we came upon this campground. If possible a visitor might consider spending at least two nights to explore the variety of historical hiking trails within the park. Note- Park website says it will be officially closed thru the 2023 season. Evidently in recent years there has been significant forest fire damage to the campground and day use areas. L. Sherman, 1-13-23
