BLM campground that is 11.5 miles up Sixes River Road. It is dry camping at its best. Weekends can be a little tough to get a spot but weekdays you have choices. We get in just fine pulling a 32’ fifth wheel but I wouldn’t want to go much bigger. Spots 1-11 good for 30’ trailers and fifth wheels. Spots 13-19 will accommodate tents, small trailers and vans. Plenty of river access and deep holes for swimming. Campground was the site of gold mining in the early 1900s and gold can still be found. No phones, no power and no drinking water but it’s one of our favorite places to camp.
