The neighboring camper had a dog outside barking for hours in the middle of the night. Made for an unsatisfactory stay.

All around my experience here was fine. Beth was super accommodating with my registration. My site was gravel but pretty level. Bathhouse was nice. No cable tv and wireless internet was not dependable but otherwise just fine. Hard to beat for the price and the location.

Propane refills and a small camp store with a free book and DVD exchange are available. Very clean and recently updated bathrooms. There is a small fish pond and they offer cane poles. Very close proximity to Mammoth Cave National Park and I-65 but very quiet. Passport America and Good Sam discounts make the stay very affordable. I stay at this campground every time I am in the area!

A last minute stop to see the Mammoth Caves. Host, Elron was very accommodating. It has electricity, sewer and water hook up, a bath house and WiFi throughout the park but it is as sporadic as cell service. Streamed some shows but had to wait at times. Nice big fields and a pond. They even sell propane.

Very quiet campground, if that’s what you are seeking. At first glance it seems nice. But please read the rules carefully because what you see on the website is NOT what they hand you upon check in. Very quiet because they expect you to be “absolute quiet, fires out, everyone in and settled for the night” at 10pm. Not a problem for some people and it really wasn’t for me; however, I didn’t like the tone. I do feel I was discriminated against for being a smoker but that’s their choice.
We are self contained so I can’t comment on the bath facilities.
I have Verizon and T mobile. The T mobile MiFi worked fine without buffering. Verizon was useless for anything. I could text and call with T mobile, no internet. So was the campground WiFi. If you need to work don’t count on it. It constantly dropped out.
We had a pull through site, it was decently level with gravel and grass. Cigarette butts in the fire pit, but otherwise clean. Our site was small but comfy. It would be great for star gazing if the enormous flood lights didn’t ruin it!
I wouldn’t stay again due to the feeling I got on check in but if you’re a teetotaler, non smoker with a Christian outlook you’ll probably be treated differently.

There seemed to be more non-vacationers camped there, even in such a heavily tourist area. The grounds are well kept and lovely. The bathhouse, though old and of a jerry-rigged nature, was very clean. Neighbors were all quiet and respectful. Close to Mammoth and in a quiet bucolic spot. I can see we were given a wifi code but can't recall if it was strong. I think we had good OATV and working Verizon but I didn't note it in my journal, Kind of a blast from the past type place, and liked it just fine.
