I’m not going to be polite.....Supposedly this is a former KOA but any resemblance to a KOA would only be in the layout of the park. It’s all gravel and rock, not a blade of grass. And the gravel is not level or contained. The sites are unkempt and not level. The electrical box works but the connections in disrepair and they are placed at the front of the sites so without an extension cord you might have problems. The bathrooms are typical KOA style with separate shower stalls inside the bathroom building. I would not use the showers, I found dirty paper towels laying inside two of the stalls. It’s 2 pm, do they get cleaned regularly. The office is also without care. The only reason I’m staying is that this is my last night on the road after 3 months and I refuse to stress. I will be gone at first light.

It's Winnemucca, so the options are limited.
Lots of full-time/long-term residents, many with crap everywhere. I have nothing against long-term residents but come on man! There does not appear to be any standards for how the sites are to be maintained or correcting messes.
Hardly anything worked the day we arrived, the store was closed, even though it said open. any amenities they had we not in good repair or just broken. Many sites had power issues, even worse was a resident attempting to do electrical pedestal repairs. Our site pedestal had a very loose, worn-out power receptacle. but I did a check with my surge protector and it was actually wired correctly. I did not want to try the water.
Dog poop everywhere we walked.
This park has potential, it's just not now.

Not my favorite place to stay. Most of the place is run down. Neighbor had children that were peeing outside next to our trailer and let their dogs chase ours.

Good location and helpful staff. Seemed to be a lot of long-term camping with older rigs. Sites are gravel but glad to see pull throughs. Clean restrooms and all hookups worked.

I am here during covid and the store is closed (but all else is closed as well). I was not woken by any noise which is perfect. I like the laundry room; clean and spacious. I like the proximity to town, it has the amenities that I want and the town of Winnemucca is small, quaint and unhurried. I am staying a week and it is the perfect place to be during this awful pandemic. I used the shower last night as it was clean and has nice finishes (many campground showers are gross!). I get the feeling that the owners are RVers, they understand the culture and want to keep the place up - for the price I am paying I am very satisfied.

Perfect park for an afternoon/night stop on a warm late September day. Pool was refreshing, bathrooms/showers clean, WiFi and cable TV worked good, and fairly quiet at night. Oh and they have ice cream in the store and a dog park! Sites are gravel but it’s the desert where water is precious!

On arrival I didn't like it that much. It was windy, hot and dusty day and the fact that sites are dirt and gravel doesn't help. We were checked in fast and escorted to site, plus they let us park our van and trailer for free in the back row, we appreciated that. The park grew on me as some time went by and it turned out to be actually pretty nice. They have very cool features, such as miniature Western set up and a hammock by a koi pond at the entrance, yurts and cabins for rent, tents cleaning and dog washing stations. I have to mention separately their decent size swimming pool 8 ft deep on one end that was a delight on a hot day! They light a camp fire every night from 7 to 9:30 and it makes the camp look very cozy. Our site was somewhat unlevel but we managed, some spots have trees and bushes. Mostly young people work in the reception and maintenance, all very helpful and look very busy around the park. Showers, restrooms and laundry room are spacious and clean. There is a gym with some basic equipment, a small store, and they also serve hot dogs and ice cream right there at the club house. Overall I would say it is a nice park and we got unbeatable price of $150 per week, so we were pretty satisfied with everything. I would stay there again if in the area.

We had a great time here. We arrived early in the afternoon and were able to take a dip in the pool after setting up camp. Staff was so nice, and we even made friends with people in the pool! Our spot was right next to the public firepit, close to the pool and playground. This campground was far enough off the highway that there was no road noise, but it was easy to get to. The city of Winnamucca is funny...it’s small, but has everything you need. The site was clean, but no grass (you are in the desert in the middle of Nevada).
