Traveling south thru Nevada on 93.
Needed an overnight spot in Ely. Stopped first at Love’s. Their lot was crammed with 18 wheelers. Campendium listed the Chevron station on 93 as having truck/RV parking. Pulled in behind the station to find a spacious gravel/ hard surface lot with all shapes/ sizes RVs already around the edges and no 18 wheelers. Quiet night.
Next morning we were visited by the Ely Shoshone Sheriff. Their pickup truck pulled next to our RV then slowly drove away. I exited and they backed up to say they were only checking with each unit to see if everyone was ok and to take our time leaving.
We topped off our gas tank before heading south on 93 and I went inside the station to ask about paying for our stay. The friendly cashier told me it was free as long as we did not need water/elec.
When leaving the lot we noticed they do have an RV dump ($10) and a domestic water fill.

Overall Rating
Level, dry camping. $10 dump and fill. There are some hookups you can ask about but we stayed in the dry lot.

Overall Rating
Has several RV hook up spots that are water/electric and has a dump (we didn’t use). Friendly staff, quiet location. Way quieter than Loves, glad we stumbled upon it!
