Plenty of space for our 30 foot travel trailer. Saw bigger rigs there too.

We stayed for 3 nights in early July in a 16' Basecamp. It is a small park divided into an upper and lower section. The upper section looked to have full hookups and was maybe mostly long term residents. The lower section has water and 30A electric with a convenient dump station on the way out. The staff was very helpful. I would like to give them a higher rating but there are a couple of big flaws. The park is next to the Sacramento River, between the river and a flood control dike. The access road is on top of the dike. Much cooler because of the river. But there are also resident Canada Geese along the river and a fair amount of goose poop on the grass of the lower section. The other flaw is that the access road is steep with a sharp turn at the bottom, both in order to get down off the dike. To get into the lower section approach from the north, our car alone could not make the u turn approaching from the south. I don't remember what we paid, I'm thinking $50-ish per night.

Lower level that we stayed in was shaded and had a lot of grass and geese. Electrical box was in my estimating a hazard. There was no back plate to the CB. Just exposed wires.
People are very nice with a store that was well stocked. Safe and clean for our overnight

There are only 15 or so full hookup sites with 30amp I believe all the other sites have power and water just no sewer . Not a big deal either way. Its a small place so the dump site is never far away. They let me park my 45 foot coach and the sites up top are plenty big to accommodate. The only challenge is getting down the hill but length is not the problem its the narrow road between the bathrooms and the steep hill off to the drivers side. I had zero issues getting down or up.
I dont care for the sewer location i found it almost impossible to access in my site. I dont like the atmosphere. Its not like staying in a park ful of RVers. Instead it seems like everyone gets up and goes to work comes back and sleeps.

Friendly Staff, they called us to confirm our arrival time. As others have mentioned- some very tight turns getting to the lower level. Bring an Extra hose as the water faucets can be a bit of a reach.

Note.. there are numerous homeless people living out of their cars or in the woods on the access road between the marina/RV park and the Yacht club.
Also… it’s still a solid hour to get to downtown or southern Sacramento from here due to traffic so don’t let the map “as the crow flies” proximity fool you.

Nice little basic spit on the river. Very difficult access due to road construction and both driveways being difficult hairpin turns and steep slopes. We were in the lower section, so had to drive back up to the road and back around the hairpin and down an uneven gravely slope. It was challenging backing our small trailer into the site with an uphill slope and large tree close to the narrow road. Watch out for water pipes in the middle of the grass. We called to reserve one night, said we might be homing back the following weekend and would confirm on arrival. Instead, we were charged right away for both weekends and then told of the “no refund” policy. We have credit for a night we won’t likely use.

They need to arrange the park much better we had to parked sideways in order to be able to plug into electric and water our cord did not reach other wise.
