We were looking for an RV park to stay at that was close to where my partner was going to get a tattoo, and as thousand trails members, this place was part of my trails collection. We read all of these negative reviews of the place and started to grit our teeth hoping we didn’t make a mistake booking this place. I always like to check things out for myself. We arrived to quickly find out that this is nothing what the bad reviews made it out to be. I don’t know if it is because they made many improvements, but the resort to me was really nice. The pool was refreshing and everything was in working order. I had no issues with water, electric, sewer, or any mud issues. The majority of sites here are pull through. The rec room has 2 video games but only one was powered on when I went in. I don’t know if it was because of the guy who was in there working from home or not, just reporting it as I saw it. The bath houses if you use them, we’re clean; dated, but clean. I would still recommend you wear your shower shoes. I have a shower in my camper, so I use that shower. The cable tv worked great and with no issues. At the time of posting this, the nightly rate was $69 a night. I am a thousand trails member, so this location was included in my membership. The campground was quiet and very peaceful. Verizon service was great by my site number 248. Other carriers will have issues. I have Travelfi for internet, it connected to an unknown carrier that was bad and would keep buffering, but I had to change it to another carrier and worked great. We will stay here again in the future.
